Who are you and where are you from?

I am Lara Hope Osiowy and currently from Regina, Saskatchewan.

What are you studying?

I am studying Indigenous Studies at the First Nations University of Canada.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself working overseas somewhere in public policy or international development in five years time.

What makes you successful academically?

Taking time to study and staying organized.

What would be your message to those following in your footsteps?

I would suggest to all of those who are hoping to be successful to reach out for help, whether it is at the Aboriginal Students Association, or elsewhere on campus. There are so many great services- personal, academic, social, and spiritual- that the university has to offer. It is a great time of life so live it up, believe in yourself, and know that others believe in you too!!
