Ceremony Guests
Celebrating Your Graduate
We understand that Convocation isn't just for the graduates. It's an exciting time for you, too! The following information will help you prepare for your graduate's big day.
The doors open at 8:15 a.m for the morning cermony and 12:45 p.m for the afternoon ceremony. We ask that you are seated 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony to watch the graduate procession. If you are not seated prior to the opening of the ceremony, you will have to wait to be seated by our ushers.
Commerative Items
Flowers and Class of 2026 T-shirts
Flower bouquets and Class of 2026 T-shirts will be availble to purchase from Convocation Flowers.
The t-shirts contain all the graduating students' names for that convocation with the heading "University of Regina Graduating Class of ___." Since all names are printed on a single shirt (approx. 2500 names in the spring, 1000 in the fall), the names appear quite small.
If you don't want your name printed on the T-shirt, email ur.graduation@uregina.ca at least four (4) weeks before the ceremony.
To further contribute to a safe and efficient environment for our graduates, guests, and faculty, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of Convocation Flowers' online pre-order service. They will have a contact-free customer experience for guests who are simply picking up their pre-purchased and reserved products.
Diploma Framing
Display your accomplishments with pride in a custom U of R diploma frame!
A limited quantity of frames will be also available for purchase on convocation day.
Please note: Custom mats for Hill and Levene Schools of Business diploma frames are available online only.
