Research Interests
Research focuses on municipal engineering, particularly the sustainable treatment and reuse of drinking water, greywater, and municipal and industrial wastewater. I specialize in designing, upgrading, and retrofitting water and wastewater treatment processes and facilities, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and meeting evolving environmental standards. My work also includes the modelling, design, and analysis of water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Additionally, I am involved in the study and development of strategies to prevent and control algal blooms in freshwater ecosystems.
