The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science is so pleased to report our Educating Youth in Engineering and Science (EYES) program hosted Michael Kram, Member of Parliament Regina-Wascana, on campus on August 2nd. This initiative is part of Actua's annual a Bring your MP to STEM camp week! Actua is the largest STEM outreach organization in Canada, EYES is a network member. We are very grateful for Actua's support as well as the Government of Canada's CanCode program funds to bring a variety of STEM opportunities to local youth as well as teachers and schools. The EYES program received $450,000 in funding from May 2022 to March 2024 in the most recent CanCode funding to Actua from the federal government. These funds provide opportunities for youth engagement in STEM.
