SaskHack | Saskatchewan Crown Sector Hackathon
Register for the inaugural SaskHack, a first-of-its-kind event bringing together undergraduate post-secondary students from across Saskatchewan to solve real-world challenges aligned with the Crown sector.
Hosted collaboratively by the University of Regina, University of Saskatchewan, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic, and in partnership with SaskEnergy, SaskPower, SaskTel, and SGI Canada, this event will connect students with some of Saskatchewan’s largest employers of technology and innovation talent. The hackathon will welcome undergraduate degree, diploma, and certificate students who will work in teams to develop creative solutions to Crown-sector challenges.
Beyond competition, this event is designed with career-focused outcomes for students including the opportunity to connect with leaders within and connected to the Crown sector; opportunities for personalized career support from Crown leaders, including resume and interview coaching; opportunity to win challenge prizes including cash awards or employment-related opportunities.
Students travelling 50kms or more outside Regina will be provided free accommodation at the University of Regina, with transportation arranged to/from Saskatoon. Parking is free at the University of Regina on evenings/weekends.
All students are required to register individually. Teams may be self-formed or assigned upon arrival, with a maximum of (5) students per team.
