UofR Theatre Graduating Class at The Globe Theatre
The University of Regina Theatre Department invites you to celebrate two historic firsts: the capstone production by the first graduating class of our groundbreaking BFA in Devised Performance and Theatre Creation program and our new partnership with the Globe Theatre.
Created by our fourth-year students and directed by UofR alumna Judy Wensel, What Was, What Will runs March 11-14 and March 18-21 at the Globe Theatre’s new Black Box Studio space. All shows at 7:30 PM with additional 1 PM Matinees on March 13th and 20th
About the show:
In 1993, the World Wide Web was launched to the public, promising connection, access, and an open exchange of ideas. A generation later, nine 20-somethings, growing up in the shift from analog to digital, try to make sense of the information superhighway they inherited, questioning who they are, or who they believe themselves to be, and who they imagine they might become. Part party, part funeral, part revolution on the edge, this work moves between personal memory and collective experience, reckoning with what’s been lost and leaning toward what might still be found.
Seating is limited. We encourage you to reserve early. Get your tickets today.
