AI Futures: Teaching in the AI Era

The classroom can be considered an instructor's workplace and a student's learning environment. AI Futures: Teaching in the AI Era, at the Dr. John Archer Library & Archives at the University of Regina Main Campus, is a two-day hybrid event that will explore how AI can be used to elevate learning, strengthen human judgment, and increase academic expectations.

Day 1 August 26: Teaching in the AI Era - Presentations from the Classroom

  • Wide-ranging and timely overview of the state of AI tools as they intersect with teaching and learning
  • Practical ideas to implement in teaching practice

Day 2 August 27: Human Judgement in the Age of AI

  • Explore practical strategies for redesigning curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and classroom practice for an AI-enabled future
  • Participants are encouraged to attend all 6 sessions, but all sessions are valuable and can be attended individually

All are welcome but free registration is required.

Many sessions will be live streamed but none will not be recorded and archived.
