Prairie Conservation: Birds, Rangelands and Biodiversity
The Dr. John Archer Library & Archives is pleased to host a day-long event titled Prairie Conservation: Birds, Rangelands & Biodiversity. Join us for this come-and-go event exploring prairie conservation, bird protection, rangelands, and biodiversity. Hear from knowledgeable speakers at the University of Regina and community organizations, connect with local conservation organizations, meet an ambassador owl, and learn more about the important role healthy prairie ecosystems play in supporting wildlife and our environment.
The event also helps celebrate 2026 as International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists.
Prairie Conservation: Birds, Rangelands & Biodiversity also follows up from some conversations at Archer Library & Archives' Fragile Flight event on May 8, 2026.
This event is free and open to the public!
