A distinguished leader in Canada's public service and technology sectors, Scott has spent more than 25 years advancing cybersecurity, digital transformation, and national technology initiatives. As President of Shared Services Canada, he oversees the Government of Canada's enterprise IT infrastructure and digital services. Previous to this appointment, he was Executive Vice-President of SSC and, concurrently, Associate Deputy Minister of Public Services and Procurement Canada. Scott’s career has included senior leadership roles with the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, and the Communications Security Establishment.

Most importantly to our Faculty community, Scott is a proud University of Regina alumnus, holding both a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electronic Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Regina. His remarkable career exemplifies the impact U of R graduates can have on Canada’s technology and innovation landscape.
