Changing the scope of plant research in Saskatchewan

Media are invited to the unveiling of a real-time detector designed specifically for plant imaging. The project is the first of its kind in Canada and has the potential to transform plant research and assist the agricultural community in Saskatchewan in dealing with climate change and invasive pests.

This collaborative project includes partners from the University of Regina, Sylvia Fedoruk Canadian Centre for Nuclear Innovation, the Saskatchewan Centre for Cyclotron Sciences, the Global Institute for Food Security, and the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility.

Funding is provided by Innovation Saskatchewan.
