Media Advisory Release Date: August 23, 2019 1:35 p.m.

The Ann and Roger Phillips Foundation, along with the University of Regina, will be announcing a major donation this Monday in support of the Darke Hall renovation, part of the College Avenue Campus Renewal project. Ann Phillips will be in attendance on behalf of the foundation she established with her late husband Roger, who was well known for his time as President and CEO at IPSCO (now Evraz Regina).

Historic Darke Hall is currently being renovated and is scheduled to reopen in early 2021 as an artistic and cultural hub for the city of Regina where theatre, dance and music will thrive in a fully-accessible environment.

Media are invited to attend the announcement of the donation. Of note, the announcement will be the first event in the newly-renovated, historic Lecture Theatre in the College Avenue Campus building.
