University of Regina’s South Residence building evacuated due to water damage

Media Advisory Release Date: September 28, 2013 9:15 a.m.

In the early morning of Saturday, September 28, 2013 a sprinkler head in the South Residence at the University of Regina caused water damage to the building.

All students living in the South Residence building were evacuated as University officials continue to assess the situation.

An information desk for students has been set up at Riddell Centre. Updates will be provided as available on the University's website at http://www.uregina.ca/emergency/index.html.
