Man Up Against Violence events

Media are invited to attend University of Regina’s Man Up Against Violence activities on October 27, 2016.
Events include:
- Purple Pancake Breakfast
7:30 - 9:30 a.m.
Riddell Centre, University of Regina main campus
The Honourable Tina Beaudry-Mellor, Minister of Social Services and Minister responsible for the Status of Women, as well as other University and community leaders will be in attendance flipping pancakes. Pancakes are free for all who attend.

Man Up Against Violence in partnership with Play Creative and renowned local film artist Mr. Layton Burton is debuting the most recent video production: “We’re Better than That ... Man Up”.
The Man Up Against Violence initiative examines the social construction of hyper-masculinity and its relationship to violence. Its aim is to bring people together to create a more positive masculine model for society.
