Through a generous contribution from RBC Foundation, the University of Regina has received $375,000 to establish the RBC Woman Executive in Residence Program and $125,000 toward the College Avenue Campus Renewal Project.

“The new RBC Woman Executive in Residence Program will help shape a future in which women’s representation in and contributions to organizational leadership will be enhanced and promoted,” said President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vianne Timmons. “I would like to thank RBC for helping us build a program that creates such important opportunities for students, faculty, and staff within the Faculty of Business Administration and throughout the entire University.”

The Woman Executive in Residence will work closely with other Faculties on campus and advocate for outreach and research specific to women in leadership.

"RBC celebrates the University of Regina for shining a light on gender equality and the advancement of women in business," shared Kim Ulmer, RBC Regional President. "Having thought leaders like the University of Regina and bold programs such as this will help elevate the conversation and move the needle forward in the right direction."

The two-fold gift is also helping the College Avenue Renewal Project - a transformation that will be a vibrant, accessible centre of learning, strengthening the University of Regina’s connection to the community and further contributing to the education of the next century of learners and leaders. The campus will be known as the University of Regina Leadership and Outreach Centre.

“With this generous gift that includes support for our College Avenue campus, RBC has now contributed more than $1.2 million to the University of Regina. I am so proud that we have worked closely over the years in collectively establishing and identifying key areas of need,” added President Timmons.
