About the Facilitator:
Dr. Peter Moroz is a Full Professor in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Social Venturing with the Hill/Levene Schools of Business. He has a PhD in entrepreneurship and innovation from Australia’s Deakin University, a Masters in Public Policy Economics with the University of Regina, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English Literature from the University of Saskatchewan. A well-respected teacher, Peter was the 2023 recipient of the U of R Award of Excellence in Experiential Learning. In 2024, Peter was the Academic Lead for national Imagineur.ca online creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship online program launched by the University of Regina. A well-published researcher, he has written a dozen teaching cases with Ivey Publishing and has published numerous research articles on entrepreneurship and new ventures, innovation, indigenous business, and social enterprise in many leading A-ranked journals such as the Journal of Business Venturing, Academy of Management Perspectives, Academy of Management Discoveries, Journal of Business Research and Academy of Management. Peter also worked as a researcher in the University of Regina’s Industry Liaison Office, in economic and business development as a consultant, as a research analyst with the University of Sask’s Deptartment of Agricultural Economics, and as a Special Advisor to Cabinet in the Government of Saskatchewan.
