Enacting Queer & Trans Justice in Schools (Research Week)
The Faculty of Education is pleased to host a free event on Thursday, October 30th on Queer and Trans Justice in Education in the Main Theatre at the University of Regina (doors open at 5:00 pm).
This event promises to be an engaging and informative session on how to best support 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in schools and is intended for all teachers, pre-service teachers, education support staff, parents/families, and other education community members more broadly, along with University of Regina community members.
The event will include a moderated panel discussion with
- Dr. Elizabeth Meyer (Colorado; author of Queer Justice at School: A Guide for Youth Activists, Allies, and Their Teachers),
- Dr. Qui Alexander (OISE), and
- Madelaine Enns (Indigenous Teachers for Two-Spirit Youth),
