The Anxiety Canada Graduate Research Scholarship was established in 2025 to support a graduate student in the Department of Psychology, in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Regina. This fund is intended to support graduate student research that aligns with the mission and objectives of Anxiety Canada, specifically the promotion of evidence-based approaches to understanding, treating, and preventing anxiety and anxiety disorders. The donation will directly benefit graduate students conducting high-quality research on anxiety-related topics, advancing both academic knowledge and mental health outcomes in alignment with the values of Anxiety Canada.

Eligibility

The scholarship will be awarded to a University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:
- Enrolled full time in a Master’s or PhD program in Clinical Psychology or Experimental & Applied Psychology;
- Demonstrates a clear research focus on anxiety or anxiety-related disorders;
- Demonstrates use of evidence-based methods to better understand mechanisms, assessment, or innovative treatment or prevention approaches;
- Pursuing research in areas that demonstrates alignment with the mission of Anxiety Canada, including knowledge mobilization and public impact; and
- Minimum (CGPA ) of 80%.

Application Information

In addition, students will need to upload the following:

- UP TO DATE Transcripts, which include CURRENT SEMESTER REGISTRATION. University of Regina Unofficial Transcript titled ‘Unofficial Transcript' found in UR Self Service OR University of Regina Official Transcript from MyCreds. Please refer to the MyCreds | MesCertif learner FAQs for more information on fees and how to register.
IMPORTANT: If you are an entrance student with no grades yet at the U of R, in addition to the unofficial transcript found in UR Self Service or the official transcript from MyCreds, you MUST also provide a copy of your last institution transcript along with the grading key in order to be considered. You must combine these documents into one and upload them.
