Internal Scholarships
Candidates for this scholarship are recommended by the Faculty of Education.
Eligibility
The scholarship will be presented to a University of Regina graduate student who meets the following criteria:
- Enrolled in the Master of Education program in Educational Psychology (formerly known as School Guidance and Counselling) at the University of Regina;
- Achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA ) of 75%;
- Registered and remains registered in 3 credit hours in the semester the scholarship is presented.
Note: Preference will be given to a Regina Public School Board employee taking EPSY 823 (Cognitive Assessment 1).
Application Information
In addition, students will need to upload the following:
- Preference is given to Regina Public School Board Employees, please provide letter of employment or employee ID card showing proof of employment. If you do not have these please attach a document stating that you are not a Regina Public School Board Employee.
- UP TO DATE Transcripts, which include CURRENT SEMESTER REGISTRATION. University of Regina Unofficial Transcript titled ‘Unofficial Transcript' found in UR Self Service OR University of Regina Official Transcript from MyCreds. Please refer to the MyCreds | MesCertif learner FAQs for more information on fees and how to register.
IMPORTANT: If you are an entrance student with no grades yet at the U of R, in addition to the unofficial transcript found in UR Self Service or the official transcript from MyCreds, you MUST also provide a copy of your last institution transcript along with the grading key in order to be considered. You must combine these documents into one and upload them.
All of these items are needed for an application to be considered complete.
