Battery Recycling Bins on Campus

To safely recycle batteries, please follow these simple steps before placing them in a battery recycling bin on campus:

STEP 1:    Tape battery terminals with clear tape
STEP 2:    Place batteries in a clear sealable bag

Do NOT deposit damaged or leaking batteries in bins!  Damaged or leaking batteries may be taken to the CAA Battery Depot for safe recycling.

 

REMEMBER:  Always use care! Batteries can be a fire risk.
