University of Regina and North West College sign articulation agreement

The University of Regina and North West College have signed a transfer credit agreement enabling students in both Business Certificate and Business Management Diploma programs to transfer into the Bachelor of Business Administration degree program at the U of R. This agreement is in effect for all business students at the college who began their studies in the 2022-23 academic year or thereafter.

“We are extremely happy to be able to offer these opportunities for our students to continue their educational journey by laddering into a business degree program at the University of Regina,” said Dr. Eli Ahlquist, North West College’s President and CEO. “In addition to validating the high quality of education provided it also affords students the option to begin their university studies at home, which is a significant benefit during these challenging economic times.”

“Collaborating with other post-secondary institutions across the province allows us to create new pathways for students looking to advance their educational and career paths,” said Dr. Gina Grandy, Dean of the Hill and Levene Schools of Business at the University of Regina. “The Hill School has an exceptional record of job placement post degree and undoubtedly this agreement will mean greater success for North West College graduates coming to us. We look forward to facilitating this expanded access to our Business Administration degree program.”

North West College has continuously offered business education programming for a quarter of a century. In addition to being one the most popular programs at the college, programming options have been extended to include the two year management diploma and has been opened to international student enrolment. This diploma program will also run each year starting in September 2023.
