About
Dawn Balsdon is an Instructor at the University of Regina, Faculty of Nursing. She is a theory and lab instructor in the undergraduate program. Dawn has a BSc. degree in Biochemistry from Trent University (1998), a BScN degree from Ontario Tech University (2015), a Master of Health Science, Community and Population Health from Ontario Tech University (2022), and a Doctoral student in Nursing at the University of Saskatchewan with a focus on Community and Population Health.
Dawn has current research projects in Dual Diagnosis and Transition from Youth to Adult Health Services, Nursing student Mental Health and Resilience, and Two-eyed seeing and the development of an Indigenous Centered Wholistic Health Assessment tool.
