Dr. Ebin Arries-Kleyenstuber is a nurse educator, researcher, and ethicist with a background in critical care nursing. Ebin has served in many roles and committees. Currently, he is serving as a member of the University of Regina Research Ethics Board and as an Editorial Board member for Nursing Ethics.

Program of Research

Dr. Arries-Kleyenstuber's research program is located at the intersection between Ethics, Professional Practice and Science in Nursing, focusing on examining the socio-cultural dimension of nurses' ethical and professional concerns in educational and healthcare settings. While holding a perspective on continuous ethics-quality improvement, the goal is to strengthen ethical practice and professionalism to positively impacting health. Ebin has sound experience conducting qualitative studies (Phenomenology, Q-methodology, exploratory, descriptive), concept analysis, integrative reviews, program evaluation, and quantitative research (descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational). He has supervised graduate students' research dissertations and theses and mentored undergraduate students and research team members. He delivered numerous plenary, oral, round tables presentations at presentation and in conference proceedings presented several local, national and international settings.
