About
Dr. Vivian Puplampu is an Associate Professor in the University of Regina, Faculty of Nursing and a registered nurse. She has been a nurse educator for over two decades starting from the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Ghana. She joined the Faculty of Nursing, University of Regina in 2016. She is a Certified Gerontological Nurse and conducts research on older adults, nursing education, and has successfully secured internal seed and external grants such as SSHRC and CIHR grants to conduct research on older adult populations. Dr. Puplampu has published on diverse topics in nursing education and on older adults’ social engagement, quality of life, and aging in place in both national and international peer-reviewed journals. She has methodological expertise in qualitative research, mixed-methods design, older adults’ quality of life, and student-centered learning. She serves on diverse communities in the Faculty of Nursing, at the university level, and the community at large.
