AREAS OF INTEREST

  • Anything to do with the Music and Theatre Arts
  • All 4 kids were dancers till their studio closed summer 2023 so I was a “Dance Mom” for 13+ years and loved every minute of it.
  • My kids love Musical Theatre so I decided to try my hand in directing. Our community and surrounding area kids (ages 3-16) put on two very successful musical productions – Cinderella and Madagascar.
  • This year the girls are doing the high school musical, HONK! and I have been recruited to help which I am very excited and honoured they asked.
  • I also love music and I have a background in piano, drums and voice.

ABOUT (brief bio)

  • Married to Dave and a mother to four children, Ava (17), Emma (16), and twins Gabriel & Lukas (9).
  • We live on an acreage just south of Regina by the town of Gray.
  • We are a family that loves animals and are very fortunate to live in the country to accommodate our furry family. We have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 4 guinea pigs, multiple chickens and a turkey.
  • Life is very busy with Ava in her final year of high school and preparing to go to University to get her degree in Animal Bioscience then vet medicine.
  • I grew up as a Saskatchewan Wheat Pool kid and have lived in Melfort, Prince Albert and ended up in Weyburn where I graduated from high school.
  • Attended Lethbridge College and immediately after receiving diploma in Communications Arts I was hired by the Western Producer as an Advertising Consultant and worked in Saskatoon for 3 years then transferred to Regina and worked another 18 years till economic cuts.
  • My next job took me to Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers out of Rouleau, SK where I was a Customer Service Manager for two years.
  • I had been applying for jobs at the University of Regina for several years and I finally received the call and I jumped at the opportunity.
  • I started with the Centre for Teaching and Learning, then Office of Research Services, University Advancement and now with the Faculty of Nursing. I am so excited to be joining this team!
