Whether you’re a first-year or transfer student, Orientation is designed to help you feel welcomed, supported, and part of the University of Regina community. Make new connections, experience campus life, and start your first semester feeling confident, informed, and ready for what’s ahead.

Why should I come to orientation?

This event is designed to kickstart your U of R journey and provide you with essential tools for success. Here are some of the benefits of attending:

  • Receive valuable insights into university life: Get answers to your questions and meet knowledgeable faculty members and staff.

Can I bring a family member or friend with me to orientation?
 Because capacity is limited on Orientation Day, we advise that only new U of R students attend this event.
What should I bring with me to orientation?
If you want, you can bring a notepad, pen, and water bottle. We also advise that you wear comfortable shoes as you may be walking across campus to various breakout sessions.
Do I need to register for orientation?
Yes! Registration is required to attend New Student Fall Orientation. Lunch is provided, and registering in advance allows us to accommodate your dietary preferences and ensure we have everything ready for your arrival.
