Biography of Dianne Ford, Vice-President (Administration)

 

Dianne Ford was appointed Vice-President (Administration) effective January 1, 2023. The Vice-President is responsible for Financial Services, Facilities Management, Information Services and Ancillary Services.  She holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Royal Roads University.

Prior to this role, Dianne held the position of Deputy Director Operations/CFO for the Prairie Valley School Division.  With over 25 years of senior leadership experience Dianne brings a varied portfolio of experience including primary oversight of Facilities, IT, Finance, Transportation and Human Resources in the K-12 sector. Included in her duties was the development of Strategic Planning and Negation processes with various organizations and unions.

Dianne has extensive experience at the Provincial Government level having served as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance as well as Chair of the Saskatchewan Municipal Board. These positions provided an understanding of the provincial landscape related to budget, negotiations, developing and interpreting legislation and developing and leading tribunal processes.

Dianne has contributed her leadership to change management and organizational design. Maximizing efficiency while producing the best possible service is the outcome.  As a relationship focused leader, students remain the foundation for data-based decisions while balancing the needs of staff.
