ENGL 817AL - The Literary Mind & the Artificial
This course considers the relationship between literature and artificiality: how texts artificially represent the world, how the minds of authors and readers interact with such representations, and how emergent forms of artificiality, particularly AI, complicate the relationships between the written word, creativity, and the minds of authors, readers, and characters.
*Students may receive credit for one of ENGL 817AL or ENGL 480AL.*
