Genetic population structure of whitefish

My research uses a combination of microsatellite markers and next-generation DNA sequencing to examine population structure in lake and round whitefish in Lake Huron. Specifically, I am interested in whether fish spawning in areas affected by thermal emissions from a large nuclear power plant are genetically distinct from those in reference areas.
