Dr. Roghayeh (Mitra) Maleki

Newest Postdoctoral Fellow in Mathematics

21 October 2024

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is excited to announce Dr. Roghayeh Maleki’s tenureship as postdoctoral fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Allen Herman.

After obtaining her Ph.D. at the University of Regina from 2018-2022 under the supervision of Dr. Allen Herman, Dr. Maleki was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Primorska in Slovenia under the supervision of Dr. Štefko Miklavič where she studied distance-regular graphs that support uniform structures. Her primary research interests lie in the field of algebraic combinatorics; in particular, the theory of association schemes and distance-regular graphs. Currently, she is studying the Terwilliger algebra of distance-regular graphs and group association schemes. Outside of her research, Mitra enjoys cooking and cycling and travelling the globe!

Welcome back to the department, Dr. Maleki. We are excited about your return to campus and to learn all about your research!
