Fulbright Canada Scholar Dr. Sarah Schmalenberger and the U of R Sustainability Office invite you to participate in the "Making Music in a Throwaway Culture" project finale and materials audit! 

"Making Music in a Throwaway Culture" is a research project for educators, musicians, improvisers, and other creative thinkers. The project explores the intersection of sustainability and music through the lens of collaborative music-making, and participants would be part of sessions creating sound and expressive forms of musical communication.

The event will use resources that have been discarded, collected and/or re-purposed over the course of Sarah’s time in Regina (January - April 2025) (includes recycling bins, plastic bags, newspapers, file folders, cardboard boxes, tin cans, bottles, and swag).

Everyone is welcome! The event will include a performance and “waste” audit.
