Intercultural Perspectives: Building Community in the Classroom

The impression of Canada from an external viewpoint can differ greatly from what is experienced as racism, harassment, and discrimination continues to be prevalent in numerous societal settings. In this panel discussion, students will have the opportunity to share their stories of coming to Canada, global perspectives and perceptions, overcoming challenges faced, and how we, together, can build a more empathetic and understanding community in our classrooms and society.
