Our team of mentors and global leaders are here to ease your transition to the Canadian academic system and your new living and cultural environment! Commonly referred to as our student leadership team, our mentors are dedicated to offering a wide range of knowledge and perspective through their own experiences to all of our new and returning international students!

Program Eligibility and Requirements
To become a Global Leader, you must first:
- be enrolled and remain registered in classes at the University of Regina
- have completed a minimum of 2 semesters towards your program of study
- be in good academic standing with a minimum UGPA of 70%
Upon Completing Program Tiers
As you progress through the program tiers, you'll receive:
- a Certificate of Achievement
- a letter of reference
- an official co-curricular record
- a chance to win the Award of Excellence
- a digital badge through CESL (Cultural Awareness Badge)
Program Tier Requirements
This program is designed to work within your capacity, experience, and knowledge. Each tier ladders into the next and can be completed over the course of your time as a student. You will receive a certificate after you complete each tier.
5 Advising Hours + 1 Specialized Training + 2 Workshops + 1 Event
Upon completion, you will receive a Tier 3 "Explorer" Certificate.
Tier 3 Requirements + 5 Advising Hours + 1 Specialized Training + 3 Workshops + 1 Event
Upon completion, you will receive a Tier 2 "Navigator" Certificate.
