Resuming May 11: Tutoring and Workshops
The Global Learning Centre team is busy making final preparations to resume our academic support services next week! Starting May 11, students can book appointments for English and Academic Writing, Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science tutoring. Our faculty-recommended tutors can also help with understanding class expectations, responsibilities, note-taking, time management, and more!
Protecting Your Information from Fraudulent Communication and Scams
Fraudulent communication and scams can impact anyone. It's important to remember that legitimate organizations will never make threats or demands for money or information. Scammers and fraudsters, however, will use threats, time constraints, or too-good-to-be-true motives to pressure individuals into sending money or sensitive information. To protect yourself, always remember to assess the communication you're receiving and ask for help if you need it.
