Drop by the Southland Mall between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 and join in on a variety of activities! From fun Engineering & Science workshops to musical performances, you’re sure to find something you, your little ones, or your friends will love. Plus, there will be contests and prizes, hot chocolate, half-price application fees for prospective undergraduate students, and so much more!

Student Film Screening

10:15-11:00

Get ready for a reel good time! Our Film Department Head, Mike Rollo, has handpicked a lineup of student-made, family-friendly short films that'll blow your popcorn away. Dive into a mix of documentary and dramatic work. One of the films is even nominated for this year's Saskatchewan Independent Film Awards!

Science Show (20 minutes)

Dive into the awesome universe of science with the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science and the EYES (Educating Youth in Engineering and Science) Program! Brace yourself for some live demonstrations that will blow your mind. This isn't just your average science gig—it's a spectacular fusion of entertainment and education that'll leave you buzzing with excitement!

Dance Team (5 minutes)

Get ready to jingle all the way to a winter wonderland of dance magic as the University of Regina Dance Team takes the stage. Our talented dancers are bringing holiday cheer to life with a dazzling performance set to a favorite seasonal tune.

Join us for a winter karaoke blast with our Theatre sudents! Watch as they rock the stage, and guess what? You can join in too! From shower singers to virtuosos, everyone's invited to belt out tunes and make this snowy showcase unforgettable.

Luther Bach Choir (40 minutes)

4:15-5:00

Experience the magic of the Luther Bach Choir, consisting of Luther alumni from both the High School and University campuses, students and faculty, parents and other friends of Luther, and Regina musicians with many years of choral singing experience. Join us for a performance filled with festive melodies, heartwarming harmonies, and the spirit of community.

Nature provides fossils, minerals, and rocks that have beautiful patterns! Come and look at samples of each and how to use these patterns to identify them

Merry & Bright: Squishy Circuits and Science with EYES

12-12:45

In this hands-on workshop, participants will experiment and play with interactive electronics! Squishy Circuits teaches the basics of electrical circuits, a perfect blend of play and learning!

Luther College - Make and Take - Christmas Gift Bag

1:00-1:45

Gift bags are a creative and convenient way to wrap a present for someone special. Join us to design and decorate your own gift bag using stickers, markers, tissue paper and Christmas crafting items.

Merry & Bright: Squishy Circuits and Science with EYES

3:00-3:45

In this hands-on workshop, participants will experiment and play with interactive electronics! Squishy Circuits teaches the basics of electrical circuits, a perfect blend of play and learning!

Mathematical Diversions

Use logic and problem solving skills to tackle mathematical puzzles, games, and conundrums.
