Application Information +

1. Fill out the Online Application
2. Pay the $100 CAN application fee. You may make a payment in the following ways:

B. Flywire (if you do not have a credit card you can transfer funds to us HERE)
3. Upload your documents in PDF format in the Supporting Documents section of your application. Contact international.admissions@uregina.ca for support.

Applicants must list all post-secondary institutions attended. Failure to disclose attendance at another post-secondary institution will lead to cancellation of your application. Transfer credit will not be awarded for courses taken at institutions that are not listed on application forms.

Original documents will be required once you arrive in Regina. Please be sure to provide a certified English translation for all documents. To gain transfer credit you are required to submit College and University transcripts directly from the institution or in a sealed envelope. Transfer credit will not be awarded for courses taken at institutions that are not listed on application forms.


Points of Note:
If you do not have your ELP yet, that’s okay; we will issue you a Conditional Letter of Acceptance if you are academically admissible.
Once a decision has been made regarding your application, an answer will be sent electronically. If you are accepted and would like to get the acceptance package mailed, there is a fee of $100 CAN. Please ensure to let the office know when you send in the application.

Accelerated Program

Applicants who are currently enrolled in high school or as home-based learners (minimum age 16) may be admitted to the University to take one course per term (semester). Applicants must meet have a minimum 65% on five academic subjects on a combination of two years of secondary level courses. These courses will be taken from subjects normally used for admission purposes (refer to approved list of high school courses in the admissions section of the General Calendar).

Casual Studies Program
Applicants must be aged at least 18 (if under 18, they must have already graduated from high school).
Students who have received a Faculty requirement to discontinue (RTD) or University-level forced withdrawal (MW) at the University of Regina or another post-secondary institution are not eligible to participate.

Mature Admission

Mature admission to undergraduate programs may be granted to applicants who meet the following criteria:

  • Canadian Citizen, Refugee, Protected Person, or Permanent Resident of Canada;
  • 21 years of age before the start of the term to which they are applying;
  • have attempted fewer than 15 credit hours of approved post-secondary courses; and
  • can demonstrate the ability to succeed at university through life or work-related experiences.

Students wishing to apply through Mature Admission are required to submit a personal mature statement, high school transcripts, if out of secondary school for fewer than  fiver years and any other faculty specific supplementary information, if applicable.
