George joined the Department of Economics in 2010 as sessional instructor before moving into a tenured Lecturer position in 2013. He teaches a wide variety of upper-level classes in economics along with classes in research & writing and the occasional introductory class. In addition to his research and academic experience, he has extensive professional experience as a senior analyst and economic consultant specializing in strategic financial and operational management, economic evaluation, and applied policy analysis. George earned a Bachelor of Science in International Economics (2002) and Master of Science in Financial Economics from Florida Atlantic University (2003).
