Are you Eligible?

Applicants are admitted through the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research (FGSR) and must meet the following admission standards

Levene Master of Business Administration (Levene MBA)

  • Four-year undergraduate degree with a minimum grade point average equivalent to Canadian 70%
  • Applicants are normally required to have at least two years full-time work experience
  • Experience must be obtained after completion of undergraduate degree
    • Internships, work placements and co-operative education placements are not accepted as work experience
  • A minimum GMAT score of 500 or GRE Equivalent is required (Students laddering from the Post-Graduate Diploma students are not required to write an additional GMAT)
  • Applicants without an undergraduate degree in business must successfully complete the Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Foundations with a minimum GPA of 70% or achieve a minimum of 70% GPA in each of the following qualifying courses (or their equivalent):
    • BUS 210 – Introduction to Marketing
    • BUS 250 – Introduction to Human Resource Management
    • BUS 260 – Introduction to Organizational Behaviour
    • BUS 285 – Introduction to Financial Accounting
    • BUS 288 – Introduction to Managerial Accounting
    • BUS 290 – Introduction to Finance
    • ECON 201 – Introduction to Microeconomics
    • ECON 202 – Introduction to Macroeconomics
    • STAT 100 - Statistics
    • Plus one additional undergraduate course
  • International applicants must submit proof of English proficiency if their language of instruction in their undergraduate degree was not English. (score cannot be older than 2 years):
    • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL): 70
    • CanTEST: 4.5 with No Band below 4.0
    • IELTS (Academic Version): 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each band

Master of Human Resource Management

Master of Science in Organizational in Organizational Studies

The Levene MSc program starts once each year, in September. Applications are considered on an ongoing basis, but to ensure your application can be processed in time for your desired start year, prospective students are encouraged to submit completed applications by March 1.

IMPORTANT: In advance of applying, prospective students *must* have a faculty member who has agreed to supervise their research. Applications without a confirmed faculty supervisor will not be processed. It is the prospective student’s responsibility to find a suitable advisor prior to applying to the program.

Applicants must meet the entrance requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research and additional requirements:

  • Applicants are normally required to have completed a four-year undergraduate degree with an acceptable grade point average equivalent to Canadian 80%.
  • A minimum GMAT score of 600 or equivalent GRE is required
  • Applicants are normally required to have successfully completed (with a minimum grade of 70%) the following undergraduate courses (or their equivalents) within five years of applying: BUS 260 (Introduction to Organizational Behaviour) or PSYC 220 (Social Psychology), STAT 200 or STAT 160 (Introductory Statistics), and an upper year advanced statistics and/or research methods course (e.g., PSYC 405, BUS 413, STAT 354, SOC 404, etc.).
  • Applicants must submit a Letter of Interest where they must specify a member of faculty who has agreed to work with them during their program.
  • International applicants must submit proof of English proficiency if their language of instruction in their undergraduate degree was not English. (score cannot be older than 2 years)
