The Levene Dinner is a premiere event that brings together a wide array of influential business professionals and educational leaders.

Chief Clarence , Osoyoos Indian Band, will be this year's keynote speaker. During Chief Louie’s business journey that’s lasted over thirty years, he has learned many business leadership lessons. Join us Thursday May 24th to hear his Leadership Lessons Learned.

Recipient of the Order of Canada (2016), Entrepreneur of the Year (Ernst & Young 2008), and named one of the “Top 50 Canadians to Watch” (Maclean’s Magazine 2003), Chief Clarence Joseph Louie has been a trail blazer for indigenous business.  

Chief of the Osoyoos Indian Band, part of the Okanagan Nation in south central British Columbia, Clarence Joseph Louie has consistently emphasized economic development as a means to improve his people’s standard of living. Under his direction, the Band has become a multi-faceted corporation that owns and manages nine businesses and employs hundreds of people. In 1998, when the Osoyoos Indian Band Development Corporation was formed to manage and provide strategic direction to the existing businesses and as well as seek out new economic opportunities, Clarence was appointed CEO.
