KHS Career Fair 2012

The University of Regina Career Centre and the Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies are very pleased to host the Kinesiology and Health Studies Annual Career Fair in conjunction with the Spring Career Fair 2012. These are two events not to miss! Last year's events were a resounding success with many positive comments received from professionals and students alike. This Annual Career Fair is marketed to ALL current Kinesiology and Health Studies Students as well as those students in the Bachelor of Health Studies Program. The University of Regina is one of two Health Studies degree programs in Western Canada, unique in that our program is jointly offered by the Faculties of Kinesiology and Health Studies, the Faculty of Arts at the University of Regina and the First Nations University of Canada. This is a program which specifically addresses the needs of organizations serving in the ever expanding health human services field.

Building on the success of past annual Career Fairs, opportunities will exist for focused discussion at your display booth, as well as additional traffic from the neighbouring Summer Job Fair. This event is hosted in the main gym of the Centre for Kinesiology, Health and Sport. The purpose of the Career Fair is:

1. To provide an opportunity for professionals to promote their organizations/agencies to current Bachelor of Kinesiology and Bachelor of Health Studies students.

2. To expose students to the types of careers available to graduates of the Health Studies and Kinesiology degree programs.

3. To provide professionals with an opportunity to recruit students for potential Fieldwork placements.
