School's Out Camps

UPDATE: Although camps are being allowed to operate face-to-face again in Saskatchewan, due to our campus closure and risks to campers and staff we will continue with our digital format for ALL school's out camps in 2021.

Virtual School's Out Camps in 2020-21 are one day arts classes that take place during Teachers' Institute, Staff Development, and other days of the year when elementary school teachers are working but students are off school. Keep your child engaged and learning when school's out in a fun and creative learning environment! These are offered through REMOTE DELIVERY ONLY.

AM Only 9:30-11:00am
PM Only
Full Day Both AM and PM sessions

This is when the students and teachers for a course are not in the same space, but the lessons are being taught at a specific time (example: we meet from 9:30-11:00am through video conference). It is different from online delivery that can be done at your own pace (example: you can watch a pre-recorded video at anytime during the day). Learn about how to use Zoom (video conference software) and much more on our About Our Camps page. Read our Camp Values to learn more about what guides our planning and camp content.

What will be included in a themed VIRTUAL CAMP?

  • Experienced Arts Educators: Your child will receive two video conference lessons in the camp theme and check-in's at 9:30am and 1:30pm with an experienced arts educator. AM/PM camps only have one check-in at either 9:30am or 1:30pm. Find biographies on our Camp Staff page.
  • Online Classroom: Your family will receive access to an online classroom that includes everything your child is working on and how to get your child ready for the class. We are creating material lists with items you may already have at home or can easily be substituted (we recommend saving/collecting all your paper!).

One day camps are priced $15/1.5-hours ($30/3-hours). If you have any questions, please e-mail Creative Camp.

Are you applying for Creative Kids funding? Please call our Student Services Non-Credit Office to create a client account for your family. If funding is approved, we will contact you to register your child in the camp of your choice. Unfortunately, we cannot reserve seats in camps without payment.
