Suzuki Programs

About Our Classes

Using the concept All children can learn, the Suzuki method of teaching uses the methodology of language training to develop the language of music in your child. It works on the principle that children can learn music the same way they learned to speak: through experience, listening, and imitation. This program involves both parent and child in the learning and practicing. More class information can be found in our online registration system or by clicking on the course links below. Browse all of our registration options.

Youth Trumpet Program (On Hiatus)

Our Youth Trumpet Program is unique in this province. Children younger than 10 often do not have the stamina and strength to hold or produce sound in this instrument family. Using mini trumpets (called pocket trumpets), this program prepares budding musicians to grow the skills and technique necessary to play brass instruments. Led by Suzuki certified instructor Allen McWilliams, this group class uses songs, games, and other activities to build stamina and early technique, so, your child will be equipped to play a brass instrument! Parents attend class and are included in weekly lessons to help promote learning outside of the classroom.
