Private Lessons for New Students

UPDATE: All Private Lessons are being offered through REMOTE and ONLINE DELIVERY in Spring and Summer 2021. Learn more on our About The Conservatory page.

We welcome new students to the Conservatory all year round, however our busiest time for new students is August - October. Private Music Lessons at the Conservatory are available in many different areas of music and our instructors are highly qualified professional teachers and performers with real-life musical experience.

We know that the relationship between a student and teacher is foundational to success in learning music and we work hard to make a good match for new students. New students will be asked to register for a 30 minute trial lesson/meeting with their prospective teacher before registering for the full year. If the match isn't a good one, the student will recieve a new match and trial lesson at no extra charge.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Conservatory of Performing Arts will only be offering remote lessons at this time. We are working with the University of Regina, public health authorities, and the provincial government to find a safe way of offering lessons in person.

If you are ready to start your music education journey, please click the link below and fill out our placement form. Someone from the Conservatory will contact you with information about your instructor match or to discuss your request in more details.
