Resa's Story - Private Music Lessons

When I graduated Kindermusik at the age of 4 I chose to learn the violin. I admit it wasn’t as easy as it looked on TV. But I persevered.

Over the years I progressed and enjoyed various excellent instructors. The Conservatory is “one stop shopping”. I’ve enjoyed ballet, summer and holiday crafts, acting classes, and theory classes. I play the trumpet at school, so to enhance my playing skills I turned back to the Conservatory for lessons.

It’s because of the instructors at the Conservatory that I was chosen to be part of a group to play in China. Where else would I have been able to have the knowledge and experience of Dr. Howard Leyton Brown imparted on me.

The Conservatory has been a stepping stone for so many exciting experiences in my life. Recitals, masterclasses and workshops are all perks of being part of the Conservatory.
