Philosophy Café

The Philosophy Café is an open exchange of philosophical ideas led by a University of Regina Philosophy Professor, a Graduate Student, or a guest, that runs through the Fall and Winter semesters. The Philosophy Café is free and open to the general public and all are welcome to attend.

Wonder why people study philosophy? Want to ask what we think? Have a question about Kant? Hoping to learn more about areas of research in philosophy? Join us for a casual panel discussion, some snacks, and some thoughtful questions about studying philosophy. Everyone is welcome!

This event will be held during the 2026-2027 academic year in September, October, November, January, February and March. Speakers and their lecture title will be sent out prior to the event in the form of a poster. This event is wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator at the Central Library to reach [the floor where the Café is]. You can find additional information about Library Accessibility here. Snacks will be provided. This event is open to everyone so please come and enjoy an edifying lecture on philosophy with a question and answer period to follow.
