DUTIES:
- Working closely with staff in interrelated functions such as budgets, investments and banking, and enterprise risk management
- Obtaining certificates of insurance as required by external organizations
- Maintaining the central database for certificates of insurance requested by the University
- Managing the University's insurance portfolio
- Facilitating the insurance claim process
- Monitors and controls the operating budget
- Maintains and prepares the operating fund budget book
- Manages position control in the Finance and Human Resources system for existing and new positions
- Calculates and accounts for year-end carry forwards
- Provides computer, budget and financial advice upon request
- Develops computer based financial and budgeting models and reports
- Preparing Board reports
