Come out and experience baroque music played on period instruments. Flute players use wooden flutes and recorders, string players use shorter bows, and harpsichord was used in place of piano. Details of the Per Sonatori concert series:

Per Sonatori is excited to bring you these sounds in their following season:

The first concert will reflect the Twelve Days of Christmas. This will be done by combining Renaissance and Baroque Music with dances choreographed by Dr. Ann Kipling Brown and Misty Wensel, with a pre-concert presentation with both Dr. Barbara Reul and Dr. Ann Kipling Brown at 2:45 PM.
Sunday, December 7th at 3:30 PM at Knox-Metropolitan United Church

The Language of Love brings us an early Italian concert with Madeleine Owen direct from Montreal. Her Theorbo playing is exceptional and is something we rarely see in the prairies.
Saturday, January 31st at 8:00 PM at Knox-Metropolitan United Church

Our final concert, Now Performing with Universal Applause, will present an all English concert featuring ‘The Fairies’ by JC Smith. This opera was the focus of Dr. Pauline Minevich’s doctoral thesis and we are excited to have her helping with this program. Her pre-concert chat will be at 7:15 PM.
Saturday, April 25th at 8:00PM at Knox-Metropolitan United Church
