About

Chelsea is a dedicated nursing professional with a diverse background in clinical care, education, and leadership. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) in 2011, followed by a Master of Nursing (MN) from the University of Saskatchewan in 2021.

Chelsea’s clinical expertise spans geriatrics, obstetrics, and community health, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of patient care across various settings. She has held several impactful educator roles within the Saskatchewan Health Authority, including as a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) at the Maternal Care Center at JPCH and as a Core CNE within Nursing Practice and Education.

In addition to her work with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, Chelsea furthered her passion for teaching through roles as a clinical and lab instructor at the University of Saskatchewan. Her commitment to nursing education led her to transition into a leadership position as a Clinical Coordinator with the College of Nursing, where she continued to foster the development of future nursing professionals.

Chelsea passionately believes that nursing students have the power to shape the future of healthcare. She says, “I want students to realize that they are not just a part of the system—they are the heartbeat of it. Their passion, creativity, and dedication are essential in advancing and transforming our healthcare system. I encourage them to find their passion within nursing, to boldly bring forward their ideas, embrace opportunities to take risks, and to always use their voices to drive change."
