About:
Lori serves as an Instructor at the University of Regina, Faculty of Nursing. Lori has dedicated nearly two decades to advancing undergraduate nursing education. Lori has held a range of instructional, administrative, and leadership roles, demonstrating her commitment to fostering student learning and professional growth within the nursing field. Lori holds both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master’s degree from the University of Saskatchewan and is currently pursuing her PhD.
Her academic pursuits are complemented by practical knowledge with a particular focus in community and forensic (correctional) nursing. Her expertise is nationally recognized—Lori is certified as a Community Health Nurse by the Canadian Nurses Association, reflecting her advanced clinical skills and dedication to the specialty. She has earned a certificate in Intimate Partner Violence Nurse Examiner through the International Association of Forensic Nurses. Lori is passionate about relational ethics, committed to excellence in practice and is invested in mentoring the next generation of nurses.
