Below is a list of upcoming major grant funding competitions and associated deadlines to support planning and preparation. Researchers are asked to contact a Research Facilitator in the Office of Research Services early in the process of developing grant applications. They can review drafts of any sections at early stages and provide feedback. Contact Us.

Applicants should obtain departmental and faculty approval by submitting a Funded Research Approval Form with their proposal and budget.  A penultimate draft is acceptable if the proposal is being refined.  Please check with your Faculty for their deadlines and turnaround times. 

The signed Funded Research Approval Form and proposal should be forwarded to a Research Facilitator by the internal deadlines below.  This allows for review of applications and budgets, preparation of additional documentation (such as letters of support and/or confirmation of institutional contributions), compliance with the funder’s and University’s guidelines and policies, and obtaining institutional approval.  All grant applications must receive Departmental and Faculty approval and be reviewed by a Research Facilitator for institutional approval prior to submission, whether it is required by the funder or not.
