Student Accounts

Once you enrol in courses, check your account status online by going to UR Self-Service and following these steps:

  • Login using your nine-digit student ID number and personal PIN number.
  • Click on Student
  • Click on Student Records
  • Click on View Account or Make a Payment
  • Choose E-Bill
  • Choose Latest Bill
  • Select statement date from drop-down list
  • Click Print/View Statement
  • Click OK
  • To print – Go to File Menu and choose Print
  • Select View Account or Make a Payment
  • Select Action, click Pay
  • Select payment method from drop-down list
  • Follow instructions shown on each screen

How to Pay Your Student Account

You can pay your student account online, by mail, in person, by phone or by wire transfer. Here's how:

Through UR Self-Service you can make credit card payments on your student account

Direct Bill Payment:

The University of Regina has agreements with all the major Canadian Chartered Banks and Saskatchewan Credit Unions for Internet payments. If you currently pay other bills using Internet banking, you can pay your student fees to the University of Regina using this option. In order to do so, you will need to add the University of Regina as a payee by selecting the University of Regina from a list on your bank’s web page. When making payment using Internet banking, you will be prompted for an account number. When prompted for an account number, enter your nine digit student number. If you are paying for someone else’s tuition, (e.g. son’s, daughter’s)  then enter their student number as the account number.

If you are paying the tuition for a student registered with a Federated College (Campion, Luther, or First Nations University), you should select the Federated College as the payee when using Internet banking.  If you are unsure of the Federated College status or the Federated College is not available as a payee, simply leave the payee as the University of Regina and the payment will be credited to the student’s account.

Note that payments made using direct banking over the Internet can take up to seven business days to appear on the student account as the University must wait for the payment data to be received from the financial institution.

In Person:

Payments accepted by cheque, Interac, credit card, or cash at Financial Services, Room 205 Administration-Humanities Building Monday to Friday 8:15a.m. to 4:15p.m. Wednesday the office opens at 9:15a.m.

By Phone:

Credit card payments are accepted by phone. Call Financial Services at 306-585-4123. You will need your nine-digit student number.

By Mail:

If you would like to send a cheque payment through the mail, make your cheque payable to "The University of Regina", ensure you provide the student name and student number and mail it to:

By Wire Transfer:

University of Regina has partnered with peerTransfer to streamline the tuition payment process for our international students.  peerTransfer allows you to pay from any country and any bank. They also offer excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases) and save a significant amount of money, compared to traditional banks and credit card exchange rates.  In addition, the posting of the payment into your University of Regina account will be faster, you will be able to track where your payment is in the transfer process via a student dashboard and you will be notified via email when it is deposited into our account.
